KEEP A LOOKOUT FOR ... Vikram CHANDRA
THE most eagerly awaited novel of 2006 should most probably go to Vikram Chandra’s Sacred Games (Faber & Faber, 2006), which will most probably be released in the second half of this year. Over seven years in the writing, his new novel is finally seeing the light of day.

Hi,
This guy came to my faculty when the Spanish translation of Love and Longing in Bombay was published, and we had the chance to have a nice discussion with him about post-colonialism, anglo-indian literature, translations, and so on. He was most smart and agreeable.
Hello Jacobo - Vikram Chandra took seven years to write his new and third book, Sacred Heart, with a million dollar advance! I enjoyed reading his first novel and his first collection of stories and look forward to reading the new novel. Happy reading!
