2009 Independent Foreign Fiction Prize

COLOMBIA has two authors on the 2009 Independent Foreign Ficton Prize shortlist: Evelio Rosero and Juan Gabriel Vásquez. Both of these books were translated from the Spanish by Anne McLean. There is also a début novel from a French author, Céline Curiol. Ma Jian, Ismail Kadare and A.B. Yehoshua are on the shortlist.
